Privacy Policy

1. Overview

YouScript is a product of Chandan AI Technologies. We built this tool to help you write better scripts. This policy describes what we track and why, ensuring we can provide the service, fix bugs, and improve the product.

2. Information Collection

Login Data (Google Auth)

• We use Google OAuth for secure login.
• Signing in gives us your name, email, and profile picture. We never see your password.
• Signing in does not give us access to your YouTube channel. That is a separate, optional step described under “If you connect your YouTube channel” below.

Functional Data

• Script Inputs: We store the data you provide (channel URL, topics, notes) to generate your scripts, and the scripts you paste into the analyzer as described under “Scripts you analyze” below.
• Generated Content: We store your final scripts so you can access your history.

Scripts you analyze

When you run a script through the analyzer, YouScript stores the text you paste and the report it produces. This is kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.

It is used for one purpose: checking whether the reports are accurate and useful, so they can be improved. Your script is never published, never shared with other users, never sold, and never used to train AI models.

To produce the report, your script is sent to third-party AI providers under the terms described in section 4 below.

This applies whether or not you have an account. To have a stored script deleted sooner, email bhargav@youscript.pro.

Usage Data

• We use anonymous analytics to understand which features are most used.
• We track error logs to identify and fix technical issues.

3. YouTube data

YouScript uses YouTube API Services. By using YouScript you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

What YouScript reads

When you paste a channel or video link, YouScript reads information that YouTube already makes public: channel name and subscriber count, video titles, view counts, publish dates, durations, thumbnails, and the captions or transcript of the video.

This is read at the moment you ask for it. YouScript does not crawl channels in the background and does not download or keep copies of anyone's videos.

What is kept

Figures shown to you live, such as a channel's current view counts, are read from YouTube at the moment you ask and are not stored as a running record.

Where a figure forms part of a report or analysis saved to your account, it stays with that saved item so the report still makes sense when you open it again. Anything saved to your account can be deleted on request, and analyzer reports also follow the retention described under “Scripts you analyze” above.

If you connect your YouTube channel

Everything above works on public YouTube data and needs no permission from you. Connecting your own channel is different, and it is optional. It is only offered when you are signed in, it is a separate consent screen from signing in, and nothing is read from your channel unless you complete it.

If you connect it, YouScript reads two things: the list of videos on your own channel, so you can choose which one to look at, and the audience retention data for the video you choose. Retention data is the graph YouTube already shows you in YouTube Studio, telling you how much of the video people watched.

This is read at the moment you ask for an analysis. YouScript does not read your revenue, your comments, your private messages, your subscriber identities, or any other channel data. It has read-only access, so it can never upload, edit, delete, comment, or post anything on your channel.

Retention figures are shown to you, and kept only as part of an analysis saved to your account so the report still makes sense when you open it later. They are never shown to other users, never sold, and never used to train AI models. To produce the analysis, this data is sent to third-party AI providers under the terms in section 4 below.

You can disconnect at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately revokes our access. Email bhargav@youscript.pro to have saved analyses deleted.

Information stored on your device

YouScript stores a small amount of information in your browser to keep you signed in and to avoid reloading your profile on every page. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere else, and clearing your browser data removes it.

4. AI Processing

To generate high-quality scripts, YouScript utilizes advanced AI technology.

• Purpose: We send your inputs to trusted third-party AI providers solely to generate your requested content.
• Privacy: We expressly do not allow our AI partners to use your data to train their public models. Your creative ideas remain yours.

5. Payments

We do not store or process your credit card information directly. All transactions are handled securely by our authorized Merchant of Record, who adheres to strict PCI-DSS compliance standards. We only receive your subscription status to provide access to premium features.

6. Data Security & Storage

Your data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption, both in transit and at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited to authorized personnel for maintenance purposes only.

7. Your Rights

You retain ownership of your account and data. You have the right to:

• Export: Copy and save your scripts anytime.
• Delete: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data. We will permanently erase it.

8. Updates to Policy

We may update this policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Significant updates will be communicated via email. Minor updates (such as clarifications) will be noted by the "Last updated" date.
